Programmed for desire

It may be true that we are genetically programmed as men to be attracted to a certain type of woman but I’d like to think that I am slightly more sophisticated than that. Of course I am not denying that the sub-conscious has an enormous amount of control over the way that we behave, we are still a relatively primitive species after all as we can observe from even a brief scan of a newspaper. Linked to this is a theory that a man finds a woman who has already had children desirable for a similar reason – she has proved her fertility and so a man will have confidence in being able to reproduce. The other side to this coin by the way ladies is that the same theory supports the idea that men are not naturally monogamous! Now that is one theory I can agree with…
